What makes a Natural Sleep mattress different?
Natural Sleep mattresses are the most natural mattresses possible, and are handmade in Ireland. We handpick our fibres for their hypoallergenic properties and naturally insulating properties to put your comfort and wellbeing first. We use naturally fire-retardant materials so we don’t have to use any chemical spray. Learn more about our natural ethos here.
How does my mattress arrive?
Your mattress will arrive rolled and vacuum packed, in a recyclable cardboard box. Our friendly team of drivers will carefully deliver your new mattress to your door, carry the box to your bedroom and put into place ready for you to unbox. We recommend two people unbox and unroll the new mattress.
How do I set up my mattress?
Just unbox, lay on a flat surface, roll out, and wait for the mattress to expand.
Can I sleep on my mattress right away?
Once removed from its box, your Natural Sleep mattress will uncurl and expand on its own. We suggest letting it fully expand for an hour before lying down to sleep. In 48 hours any signs of creases or wrinkles will be recovered. Within two weeks your mattress will be fully settled.
There's a slight smell when I remove the packaging, is that normal?
You may notice a slightly earthy smell once you remove the packaging. This is from the natural cotton and lambswool materials, and is completely normal. Like the scent of a new piece of leather furniture, it will quickly settle.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver all over Ireland, including Northern Ireland. We can deliver internationally too, just contact us info@naturalsleep.ie for a shipping quote.
How long will it take to get my new mattress?
Please allow up to 15 working days from order to delivery. We need 5 working days to process your order, then depending on your location 5-10 working days to deliver. If you need your mattress in a hurry, please get in touch, we'd be happy to help if we can! More information on shipping is available here.
Does rolling a mattress in a box affect its quality?
Our ‘ready to roll’ mattresses utilise the most up to date bedding technology, so they can be delivered direct to your door, with no impact or compromise on quality. We have over 40 years experience making mattresses, and innovations over the last 10 years have allowed us to create better quality mattresses, specifically designed to be rolled and boxed for transport, that always spring right back into shape.
How firm are the mattresses in your range?
Natural pulse latex offers exceptionally high tensile strength with ultimate comfort giving superb support. Our Essential mattress is medium soft, the Hybrid is a firmer double sided mattress, and our highest performing Organic mattress has a medium firmness that is still ultra soft thanks to the 100% latex core.
How does the 100-Night Trial work?
Try your Natural Sleep mattress at home for up to 100 nights, commitment free. If you decide your mattress isn’t quite right for you, just let us know and we’ll arrange collection and give you a full refund. Find out more here.
Does my Natural Sleep mattress come with a warranty?
All mattresses come with a five year warranty to cover you in the unlikely event of material defects resulting from defective materials or workmanship. Should you come across any issues or problems with your new mattress of this nature after the 100 night sleep trial, just reach out to our Sleep Experts team and we’ll be happy to help.
Can you take away old mattresses?
Yes! We are delighted to offer the option to take away your old mattress. For €50, we can arrange for our delivery team to take it away. Just choose the option 'Free Shipping + Old Mattress Disposal' at checkout. We have limited space on our vans though so we’ll only be able to take away the same number of mattresses as we have delivered and they must be the same size or smaller. Please note, our delivery team cannot take bed bases or other furniture.
Do you use fire retardants?
The raw materials we use are naturally fire retardant, and we handpick our natural fibres for their soft touch and wellbeing properties. Learn more about our materials here.
Do you offer children’s sizes?
The smallest size mattress we offer is a single bed, which is 90 x 190cm.
Are your mattresses suitable for asthmatic sufferers?
Our founder James has suffered with asthma since he was a child and Natural Sleep was born out of a keenness to find a mattress that was both comfortable and all-natural. Our natural mattresses should be a first choice for asthmatics, as they use no chemicals and hypoallergenic raw materials.
Can I flip my mattress?
Our mattresses are handcrafted and designed to last. Both our Hybrid and Organic mattresses can be flipped to give a longer lifetime. The Hybrid has a spring-based core and luxurious natural layers on both sides. Our Organic mattress features a 100% latex core and is designed to be laid on either side.
Do your mattresses have a weight limit?
Our natural mattresses are designed to suit everyone, of all shapes and sizes. If you have a concern about weight limits or are 20+ stone, please feel free to contact our Sleep Experts team directly.
What do I need in order to purchase a mattress online?
All you need to order your Natural Sleep mattress is a valid credit or debit card and a valid email address.
Do you have any stockists?
You are welcome to visit us at our showroom in Ballylanders, Co Limerick. Just book an appointment via our Sleep Experts team, we are open from 8am-2pm Monday-Friday. Natural Sleep mattresses will also be stocked in select retailers nationwide (coming soon).
